Raton Economic Development Updates

It has become clear that the outbreak of COVID19 will be an event of historic proportions on many scales, including economically. We as a community will be faced with some tough times ahead. For us, recovery plans must start now.

Whether your business is currently operating at full capacity or one that has temporarily closed, the economic impact on our small businesses and our community will be huge. With that in mind, the City of Raton will send out Newsletters and Updates on State and Federal relief programs. Furthermore, we will continue to advocate on behalf of our small businesses whom will be faced with the largest economic hit. We will continue to build and establish connections with our State and Federal Representatives so that they understand our unique community needs. We will continue to ensure that our representatives remember our small businesses, while we advocate for easier access and more flexible small business relief programs.

At this time, City Hall remains open to the public but we ask that you limit in-person visits and call us instead at

(505) 445-9551.
